ALFOS Fri 19th July
10.30 / 3am
£8 Tickets available from Chinaskis & Tickets Scotland
The journey from outer space continues & with your continued support it's always a smash. Yeah of course we have a couple of master astronauts manning the rocket although what cant be underestimated is the part you all play. We are still having the best time doing this evening & a good pat on the back to yourselves as this is so far ALFOS's only residency anywhere for the moment. The boys play other cities/venues more than once but for the time being your their home crowd. I can assure you all that they are as happy as you about ALFOS at the Berkeley Suite.

DRONE
Sat 27th July
11pm / 3am
£8
Richard/Drone's first evening got off to a great start. On the back of another bank holiday which came 3/4wks off of Easter that was a great effort by those who made it down. A wee bonus for us & Dublin's misfortune was Andrew was pleasantly stranded in Glasgow for the weekend & stepped up for an impromptu 2hr set in Chanaskis Bar so those who did attend Drone got a real treat. Richard was again on top form dropping classic's & some lovely new sounds which more or less set the tone for what's to come at the Berkeley Suite with his future visits.
Richard has quite a few releases coming up on his Drone label & informs me his archive of Black Acid & a couple of other projects from his vault will be seeing the light of day sometime in the near future, no specific release dates as yet but I will endeavour to keep the vinyl enthusiasts informed on the progress of these projects.
Transmission would like to thank you all for the support of ALFOS & DRONE over the weekend.

The Great Pop Supplement is a tiny London based label whose 80 odd

packaged in anything from poster sleeves, to screwed down blackboard
slabs, to silver Scotland Yard crime scene 'paper' covers to circular
die cut shell sleeves and featuring killer sounds from the likes of
Spacemen 3, Wooden Shjips, Wooden Wand, Jack Rose, Still Corners,
Martin Rev, Damon & Naomi, Hush Arbors and of course this show's
headliners, The See See.
Future releases include Sun Araw and The Soundcarriers featuring a
spoken narrative from Elijah wood no less! The See See show features a
rare live venture north of the border for the label, and promises to
be a great show....
