Born and raised in Detrroit, where she started spinning jungle & drum n bass on vinyl in the 90s, Lauren then moved to Brooklyn NY via a stopover in Chicago. Winner of DJ Mag's underground hero in 2022, Lauren is regarded as one of the leading lights and most in demand DJ & producers in the world pushing that pure jacking sound - she takes everything from booty bass and electro to footwork and juke and fuses them together with her own inimitable style. We also have an I Love Acid debut from Jaq Attaque, one of the operators behind the shadows & residents that has made smartbar in Chicago arguably the best club for house music in North America. Longtime production partner of The Blessed Madonna, he's released under about a dozen different monikers over his 25+ year career as part of Chicago's scene and has graced the decks with everyone from Ben UFO and Objekt to DJ Seinnfeld and of course, his fellow smartbar resident Derrick Carter.
