LOOSE JOINTS - VALENTINE'S LOVE DOWN

♡♡♡ LOOSE JOINTS VALENTINES LOVE DOWN ♡♡♡

Back again with 5 hours of sensual club flavours in the intimate Berkeley Suite basement with some extra romantic club production. Our last Valentines party was one of our favourites, and we’ve been asked out for a second date. with music curated by Martelo, Boosterhooch, and resident Dilly Joints - dress to sweat, dress to impress, these three will be on hand to create some serious club chemistry.

Martelo, record-maker, record-player is a true UK legend, brings sonic heat from across the globe, connecting the dots of hip-hop, RnB, dancehall, dubstep, grime, UK techno, UKG, juke, footwork – you name it. Raised in Glasgow, he soon moved around the UK and played across the globe, and by age 20, was bringing global underground sounds on promo tours for the likes of Justin Timberlake and Destiny’s Child, before becoming Santigold’s tour DJ. Since then he’s remained active and respected in so many scenes in UK clubland, it's hard to keep up. A dab hand from the world of hip-hop to rave - he’s a Notting Hill Carnival must-see for the likes of Deviation, to shelling out UK club sounds for the likes of Keep Hush and re:lax, the much loved party by recent guest re:ni. Encapsulating his approach, his longstanding NTS show is adored, and rightly so, attracting a die-hard following for its genre-spanning, high energy, mesmerizingly-mixed selections from across the world.

Alleged to be the UK's most important cash-in-hand DJ, Boosterhooch has been playing the field and is omnipresent in the various aspects of Glasgow clubland. Subcity managerial alumni, promoter of countless excellent parties (incl. her current and much lauded Events Research Programme), producer, experimenter, and of course, DJ, Boosterhooch is integral to the Glasgow underground. But what kind of music does she play? Perhaps best answered through her contribution to Finn's mixtape club, 'what kind of music do u play' is 60 mins of " a masterclass in open format club DJing, expertly pinning together squelchy electro, mind-bending rave records and big jumps in tempo across a slew of club styles".
