Our bi-monthly series at the Berkeley Suite will resume in February, featuring a couple of locals making their Berkeley Suite debut. 222babychai Hailing from Glasgow, 222babychai is naturally drawn to the gritty, industrial, and underground music scenes, which significantly influence their sonic journey.

Fresh on the scene and someone to watch, 222babychai first caught our attention last year, and since then we've been enamoured with their selections. Through their radio shows on Clyde Built and their genre-bending sets, they've demonstrated a unique ability to blend techno and EBM that quickly caught our attention. No wonder they've delivered unforgettable sets within the city from venues such as La Cheetah, Exit, and Bonjour. We are thrilled to welcome them to the basement.

GOLDI131 Producer, musician and member of electronic punk group VLURE, Conor Goldie steps into the Berkeley booth after a year of touring the EU, US + UK with the group. In the last year his productions have boasted consistent plays on major radio across multiple countries. As heard on Ellen Allien’s track IDs + BBC Radio 1. Expect an aggressive genre spanning mix of his influences: dark techno, euphoric trance and hardcore sounds mixed with his own productions, broken beats, pitched breaks and generous lashings of pop vocal hooks.
